What is Hip Hop Guitar Music?

It is simply fresh hip hop music with a nasty Rafael Saadiq guitar riding the kicks and snares. The term is not exactly commercial it’s more underground than anything.

I started producing Guitar Hip Hop in 2000 when everybody else was producing the Neptunes sound. It’s totally different from the normal Dr. Dre’ or Track Masters Beat.

If you know anything about an acoustic guitar player you know that mixing hip hop with that style of production makes for a killer track. Deep bassline grooves and snappin’ snares cross the tracks with an emotional presence!

It not R&B and it’s not Neo Soul! It has it's own unique individual style. To produce this kind of track you have to know how to play a guitar…PERIOD! You also have to have a passion for Hip Hop Music too.
