Pimp C will be laid to rest this weekend
The funeral for Pimp C AKA Chad Butler will be held this weekend in his hometown of Port Arthur, TX.
According to the Port Arthur News, Hannah Funeral Home will be handling the services although the exact date and time hasn’t been announced.
Adam Saunders, director of the Robert A. “Bob” Bowers Civic Center, told Port Arthur News that he has been in contact with the Butler family and is assisting in the planning of services which are expected to be held at the Civic Center either Saturday or Sunday.
Countless celebrities are expected to attend the services for Pimp C and local Police Chief Mark Blanton has been made aware of the services although no one has confirmed a specific location or time to him as of yet.
Pimp C was found dead in his Sunset Strip hotel room Tuesday (Dec. 4) in California. Early reports suggest the Grammy nominated rapper died of natural causes although toxicology results will not be ready for release for another month or more.
