kanye west promise is holding it’s weight in “Platinum”
According to industry estimates, Kanye West’s new album “Graduation” will debut at #1 with between 850,000 - 900,000 copies sold during its first week.
Kanye’s sales rival, 50 Cent, is expected to move over 600,000 copies of his new album “Curtis” during its first week in stores.
Should the numbers hold up, “Graduation” would be the first album to sell over 800,000 copies in its opening week since Kanye West did it with his Late Registration album in late 2005.
The wild card in the race, Country artist Kenny Chesney, will reportedly have sold 400,000 copies of his new album Just As I Am: Poets and Pirates when the numbers come in.
