Ginuwine Fake Record Contract Lawsuit

R&B artist Ginuwine has launched a $2 million lawsuit against a company he says signed him to a fake record deal.
The singer says he signed a $1.75 million recording deal with King Music Group in May 2007. He alleges that the company has yet to pay him an agreed upon $500,000 advance and the suit says Ginuwine now believes the record label “does not exist.”
He has checked corporation records in numerous states, and “no such entity named King Music Group Inc. is registered,” says the suit.
Ginuwine signed to the label because he was friends with the “company’s” chief Michael Bourne says the singer’s lawyer Corey Boddie.
“He’d known Michael for a while. They were friends,” Boddie said.
“[Bourne] promised him the world, and nothing happened.”
