C-Murder Might Go Back To Jail Again
It’s seems like a double jeopardy when shi*t likes this happens. You think you are safe and BAM! A judge comes at you again.
C-Murder will stand trial for a second time in February on a second-degree murder charge. A New Orleans judge made the ruling yesterday (Oct. 16).
Judge Martha Sassone announced the trial date as February 11. The charge stems from an incident in Jan. 2002 where Miller is accused of shooting and killing Steve Thomas at Harvey nightclub.
Corer “C-Murder” Miller was originally sentenced to life in prison for the crime in Sept. 2003. An appeal for the rapper was successful and his conviction was overturned in March 2004. It was later in 2004 that Judge Martha Sassone ordered a new trial date for the rapper which was decided on yesterday.
If convicted of the crime, Miller faces a mandatory life sentence.
