Dr. Dre’ and Yella had already made successful moves with World Class Wreckin’ Cru’. Joined by two rappers MC Ren (Lorenzo Patterson) and Ice Cube (O’Shea Jackson) the group set out to change the entire west coast. Dre’ and Ice Cube began to do some writing for Eazy E. (Eric Wright), the former Drug dealer who founded Ruthless Records with the money. The song “Boyz-N-The Hood” was a song written for Ruthless artist to launch the anthem for Ruthless Records. Now here is where history was made. The artist at the label rejected the song. Holy Moly!! Eazy E decided to rap the song himself and “Niggaz With Attitude’s” were born.
